My Gateway does not boot help!

This started a week ago, there is an intermittent black screen, how long
am I expected to deal with this for?

This can be due to an early defect in which a chip capacitor on the back of the PCB is crushed by the plastic bezel of the enclosure face. We recommend that you send the gateway back and we'll repair it at no charge.
